1st of 2 staff parties for the Dakota Hotel at the beautiful setting of Citation in Glasgow City Centre. Mostly young team there on the night so they danced to everything from Abba to Taylor Swift to Lil Jon to Harry Styles.
Busy start to the month, kicking off with Ally and Liams wedding at Rutherglen Town Hall. The couple live in America and tied the knot there a few weeks ago, but Liam traces his roots back to Rutherglen so it was a privilege to help them dance, sing and party with friends and family back home.
Then I was hosting the annual Dazzle Dance studio awards, now in it's 5th year. It's always a buzz to catch up with the team and to see how much the students have grown and progressed over the year.
Across the other side of the country to the exquisite Carberry Towers for a contingent of Australian guests who had travelled the globe to celebrate their big day with the lucky bride and groom.
Following that 2 local gigs, both at Strathaven Golf Club. First was Emmas 21st birthday party. A fun filled disco with all the classics and a few modern jams thrown in for good measure. And then Margarets sensational 70th which was wall to wall floor filler hits.
Started this weekend off with Boozy Bingo down at Dalry Bowling Club. I don't need to say anything about these nights. You know exactly how crazy and how much fun they are! Then it was back at one of my favourite venues, Rutherglen Town Hall, for one of their own private events. Afterwards I shot across Glasgow to the beautiful Kincaid House for Carlene and Andrews wedding which was a big mash up of Dance, House and even some Karaoke!
First Uni Ball of the year at Glasgow Hilton for Dundee University Dental School and it was a cracker. We blew the roof off the place with club bangers and classic throwbacks. Well done to the organiser Priya who put on an outstanding night. On the evening I was lucky enough to plat along side the fantastic ceilidh band The Jiggers and also Kimberley Sax who was phenomenal at riling up the crowd.
