August sees the Wedding season draw to some what of a close and things slow down towards the end.
The month started with a nice local gig to help Alan celebrate his 40th birthday party in Rutherglen. The night was filled with classic sing along and
tons of 80s bangers for good measure. What a start and an indication of things to come!
That following Thursday began a run of 4 weddings in a row. First off I was down Ayrshire for Mary and Calums Wedding at Lochside House Hotel. The
night was a blend of RnB and GBX dance hits which is what Mary loved, and book ended by Calums taste for heavy rock (mainly AC/DC!) Brilliant way
to kick of a busy weekend.
The following night it rained, it poured and the banks nearly burst down at The Lodge On Loch Lomond for Geraldine and Anne Maries special day.
The was wall to wall cheese and floor fillers from start to finish and the guests absolutely lapped it. An impromtu appearing by a certain 'Top Gun'
created amazing memories they will never forget.
Following night I was in Bishopton at Ingliston Country Club for to help Jessica and Sean celebrate. This Gatsby styled event kicked off with a bang
and never let up the entire night. Highlights were the full on dance set later in the night which the young team went crazy for it.
Rounding of the phenomenal weekend was Lynsey and Dannys big night at Cottiers. This gem is one of my favourite venues just for sheer
atmosphere. Lots of line dancing and cheese classics were in full swing this night and it was one of those ones I never wanted to end come midnight.
After a weekend off I was up at Forest Hills Resort in Aberfoyle for Aileen and Gordons party. The couple had very little in the way of requests except
for Ibiza classics set and it was an absolute storm. Reliving the good old days when they were out there.
And to cap it all off I was way up north to the beautiful Banchory Lodge for Clare and Mitchells special day. Lots of guests had traveled far and wide to
have a great time and party and that is exactly what we did. The sun shone and the dance floor bounced as we enjoyed hit after hit before sending
them of in epic style.
Congratulations to Nuala and
Colette on their Joint 40th
Birthday Party at Queens Park
"Hi Graham, What can I say to do you justice? You were absolutely amazing! You had
everybody up on the dance floor the whole night. Everybody has sent messages to
say how much they enjoyed themselves and how wonderful the DJ was. We are so
pleased that you were able to be there for our wedding, You are the talk of the town
from Fintry to London. You really know how to work the crowd and create a brilliant
party atmosphere. I would recommend you to anyone who wants their wedding to be
memorable. You are exactly what you say...", Lorna and Alfie Carson" (via Email)
