July was its usual whirlwind of a month with loits of Wedding, lots of amazing drives all around our beautiful country and tons of feet on floors!
The month started with me heading way up north to Muckrach Country House just past Aviemore for Gillian and Ians Wedding. It was a brilliant evening
for the new Mr and Mrs McCann with the whole vibe heavily centred around including the family, especially their young raver daughter Lily. Stunning
location I don't get to visit often enough for my liking.
The Monday after it was down to one of my regular haunts Lodge On Loch Lomond to help Julie and Steven celebrate. Spanish holiday classics, a
Grrom/Best man grease mega mix sing along and a even a few Disney songs for the little ones.
The folling Sunday saw me return to Glenskirlie House for Leanne and Colins special day, this was definetly a dancey crowd but surprisingly loads of
on your chair, singing along and chanting too. What better way to spend a Sunday ngiht.
Right in the middle I was away to Drumtochty Castle for Julia and Jareds celebration. The couple had traveled all the way from Canada and taken over
the castle for most of the week so I was a wee bit out my comfort zone with the amount of country music I had little knowledge of. But as you would
expect of my usual service, I done my homework and low and behold we had an epic night and the guests returned home with tales of a good old
fashioned Scottish party going way into the wee hours.
Lauren and Camerons big day was up the following Saturday and Broomhall Castle looked stunning decked out in my fluid moodlights. Good standard
wedding music here got the crowd moving on a scorcher of a day and a scorcher of a night too.
The following Monday (lot of mid week gigs this July!) seen me troop down near Cairnryan to Glenapp Castle. I feel like I spent the entire month in high
end castles, very regal. Anyway this one was ba bit of an oddity, 30 Puerto Rican sales people on an incentive holiday so it was a mix of traditional
Scottish and Latin heat.I ended up feeling like I had been time traveled back to Cancun, summer 2012! Great night with lots of music I don't get to play
as much as I would like to at my usual events.
Then the month was rounded off nicely with me returning to Glenskirlie Castle were I had my own Wedding. Sarah and Ross had a wide range of
guests. Lots of the younger ones wanted to bask in the glorious sun on the terrace, leaving the more mature guests inside to dance to classics from
the 60s, 70s and of course the obligatory Vengaboys!
Wow, 4 wedding discos in a
row this weekend. Lots of new
video, pics and other content
for you to view on the site!
"Hi Graham, What can I say to do you justice? You were absolutely amazing! You had
everybody up on the dance floor the whole night. Everybody has sent messages to
say how much they enjoyed themselves and how wonderful the DJ was. We are so
pleased that you were able to be there for our wedding, You are the talk of the town
from Fintry to London. You really know how to work the crowd and create a brilliant
party atmosphere. I would recommend you to anyone who wants their wedding to be
memorable. You are exactly what you say...", Lorna and Alfie Carson" (via Email)
